Whilst recording this album, drummer Nathan played every drum part by himself first. To a click track, which was the first time he'd ever used one, and his first time in a recording studio and the first time he'd recorded anything on this level.

Nathan & Scruff (Malcolm) were so well rehearsed with the tracks anyway,... when it came to doing the first scratch guitars, everyone was like : "hmmmmm will this even work"????

Well, it did. In fact it was faultless.

The band have NEVER recorded like that before. Ever.

What else? Oh yeah, This was the first time a hellbastard record was recorded to a click track,...

And,... the guitar tone on 'The need to kill" album is way better than this one. Fact.

Vocalist/Guitarist 'scruff' once commented :

"I hated recording the FERAL album,... because I had to be there the whole time".

What a load of fucking stress.
