Dischargers came about like thus :

One day me and me mate david from Belgium were arguing about his 16 HORSEPOWER keyring / bottle opener he had (And I wanted it) ANYWAY, we were having a discussion and he said "Let's form a band", so i said "Ok" and he said "Lets call the band THE DISCHARGERS (After his and mine - beloved hardcore punk band DISCHARGE) So I said :

"Lets make an album I'll release it on my label FURY76"
and david said "OK"

So we did,.... And david got a guitar player and a drummer and said he'd play bass,....and we did ONE tour of the uk, organised so badly by a certain english label/promoter but we did it anyway and it was totally mental,...

For anyone interested I still have many DISCHARGERS t shirts left, all sizes,...blue cotton and brown cotton,... with white print,... looks great. Tour dates on back print.

That is the story of Dischargers. My Italian mate GABRIELLA SANTAMARIA did the artwork and made the video on the album etc.

Anyway, Dischargers *2 MAYBE in the future,.... but for now, here's DISCHARGERS....*1

PS of course I won't talk about going all the way to BELGIUM to record my vocals (and some guitars for this album - and losing my voice on the first track in the studio (because we rehearsed the night before intensively and all it took to blow my vocal chords was one song at the studio) So this album was 100% BELGIUM/UK produced.
Dischargers was a special band, kind of like the SEX PISTOLS but better.
